Kalpana Vadnagara (1971, Baroda, India) is a visual artist living in California, creating mixed media artworks with a conceptual approach. She received her B.Sc. in Mathematics in India and MFA in Craft from Oregon College of Art and Craft, Portland, OR. Her Indian roots combined with an art education in a western country create a hybrid art practice, enabling her to examine Indian subject matter through a western lens. She has shown her work in Portland, California, and multiple cities of India.
